Theater Class 9#

Hi Class!
Today, just for fun I thought I would share some intros of some comedies that I really like. Then, we'll get onto class. :) Oh, sorry I'm late, I completely forgot!
Gilligan's Island Intro
Green Acers Intro
Cosby Show Intro
OK, now onto today's lesson. Please send in a picture of you in your favorite outfit, (maybe it could be like a movie or something costum) and email it to me at markandlis.mellon@gmail.com. :)

Mean Comments.

I've noticed something.  We have lots of nice comments...but in the mix of comments there are a few mean ones.  I know, normally people wouldn't say names, but I feel like some of the people desserve it.

1. Kit Ruthie and Caroline -- she commented saying fashion class was BORING!  It really made me upset.  Do you not realize that I have feelings too?  Apparently not.

2. LPScommunitynetwork -- I think this person didn't have ANY CLUE that it's young girls posting on the blog...NOT a group of professional photographers!!  They commented with every little detail about the photography that was messed up.  It drove me CRAZY.

Yeah, that's about it...thanks to all the nice commenters, and amazing teachers and students.  You all mean so much to me! <3  Without all of you this wouldn't be possible!

Thanks,
Ms. Emma Kate

Theater Class #8

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that I'll be switching the day that I teach over to Saturday since I'm busy on the days I used to post on now.
Helen & Kirsten, please stay after class and read the words in Pink.

I would like to welcome Helen, Abigail's doll, and Kirsten Larson, Ellie's doll to the school! I'm Miss Lydia, the theater teacher here! :)

Onto today's lesson. I would like you to go HERE  and watch this intro to a comedy called Gilligan's Island. Then I would like you to fill in the blanks to see how much you know. This will help me plan the next lesson :)
This is the                     to the show.
This is the                     to the first               .
Now, I would like you to read this carefully:
This version of the song is colored, but it used to be black and white.
A comedy is a half-hour show that's funny and is filled with jokes.
Please tell me if you've seen a comedy or not and fill in the blanks! That will be your homework. If you or your mom have ever seen a comedy, please tell me about it by commenting below or emailing markandlis.mellon@gmail.com thank you! :)

Miss Lydia
Helen & Kirsten, please scroll down to the last lesson that I did.(not the Christmas ideas) and read through it. Thanks!
