Stories #1

Hello and welcome to the first day of 'Stories'!  :)  Do you like writing stories of your own?  Do you want to improve on writing?  Then this is the activity for you!  In this activity, each week we will talk about something new: coming up with story ideas, coming up with story characters, story setting, and at the end of summer camp you will have your own story!

So today we will talk about what you want your story to be about.  Think about what you want it to be about and leave a comment!

ELLO Govenors

Hi! I am not here for the nature walks, but I just wanted to say happy 4th of July. So, my dolls were just walking around last night on a early 4th of July walk and saw this (just kidding its from YouTube).  HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

Craft #1-Make your own Summer Keepsake Journal

Hello!  Today AGMarket isn't able to post the first craft, so I am posting it for her! :)  Enjoy!
This is Karenmomofthree's Craft and I have her permission to use it.  {Although, I came up with the steps}

Supplies:

1. Notebook (human or doll size).  Found for cheap prices at dollar stores.

2. American Girl craft stickers.  Found at Michael's.

3. Markers or letter stickers.

Directions:

1. On the notebook use the markers or letter stickers to spell out 'Summer Keepsake Journal'. 

2. Decorate the notebook with the AG craft stickers.  Make sure they stick on well.  If they don't, try using glue. {If you use hot glue, be sure to have adult supervision.}

3. Now you're done!  Let glue try if you used it.

4. Now you can fill it with all of your doll's summer adventures!

Camp AG!

Hello!  Today I would like to talk about points!  Points are where whenever you/your doll(s) post about an activity! :)  Whenever you post, you gain 1 point :)

Everyone has 0 points right now, but when camp starts, you will hopefully get more!  Thanks to Katie for the idea of doing points! :)

Activities!

Hello! :)  Here is the list of activities for Camp AG.  By the way, do you like the new design?:)  Okay, here is the list:

1. Crafts: You and your doll can make a bunch of different crafts-- from doll pencils to doll belts.  You will always have a new craft to try.  You will be shown a craft each week and you can try it out if you want to and post pictures of the results! :)  Be sure you leave the link!

2. Nature Walks: You and your doll will be able to look at pictures of a nature walk each week.  Who knows what things you could see!  You will be able to take pictures of things you see when you go outside such as flowers!  Then again, you will be able to post pictures, but be sure to leave the link!

3. Gymnastics: Your doll can learn to do lots of things- from splits to a back handspring.  You can post pictures of your doll learning different things in gymnastics!  Again, be sure to leave the link!

4. Horseback Riding: Your doll will learn to ride horses.  She will learn to walk, trot, and canter.  You can take pictures of your doll on a pretend horse or next to a real one!  Be sure to post pictures of your doll doing these things and leave the link!

5. Sports: Your doll will learn how to play different sports such as kick ball and volleyball!  She will have lots of fun playing with her friends!

Camp AG!!!

Okay, we haven't posted homework in a while!  Well, I have some good news!!  You are getting out of school on June 1st!!!  Then, Camp AG starts on July 1st!!  :)  So you will have a whole summer of fun and you will get to do things like crafts, swimming, horseback riding, and more! :)

Your assignment is to comment with your favorite thing about summer :)

Welcome to University of American Girls!

Since it is the begining of summer the school wouldn't be open till the begining of the school year.

But! You can join our summer camp!

You will share a cabin with another student.

To sign up for the summer camp just comment with your dolls name,and contact me on the contact page.

If you want,your doll doen't have to join the school to join the camp,she can just go to camp for the summer.

When you contact me,just say you want to sign up your doll(s) for summer camp!

Then I will invite you to join the blog for your doll to post on here about her summer!

And when summer camp is over,and you don't want to join the blog anymore,I could just cancle you from being a blog athor till next summer.

So come and join up!
